Why Elect Paul Pedersen
If we’re going to solve the problems facing us, we can no longer rely on party politics.
We’ve lost 4.3% of our private sector business over the last three years. Other Midwestern states have actually increased their number of employers.
Forbes ranks us as the 3rd worst state in which to do business.
Wisconsin faces a $2.32 billion budget deficit.
And now, for the first time, we have more employees in government than we do in manufacturing.
And what has the legislature done? Increased spending by 5.7 billion dollars.
Our state is being held captive by party-line voting, and politicians more interested in their jobs than ours.
I believe the new economy won’t be fixed with old politics.
I believe it’s time we begin to vote for smart ideas and sound policies no matter which side of the aisle they come from.
Our state’s budget crisis is ranked among the 10 worst in the nation.
We need to work
together to fix it.
For us and for the
Our State Government needs new thinking.
We need: leaders who will listen. Business sense. Common sense.
I’ve raised a family here. I own a small business. I’ve served on the Nicolet School board, Milwaukee Area Technical College board, the Social Development Commission and the Speakers’ Task Force for Technical Colleges.
I love living in Wisconsin. But I don’t like what’s happening to it. Fact is, we’re going broke. We’re losing jobs, people and business. Our schools are failing. Meanwhile, the only thing that’s looking up? Our taxes.
We can fix this. Please support me in taking a new approach.
